ESB Fresh Wort - Cerny Pivo

A Czech styled Black Lager or Cerny Pivo, this is a very easy drinking dark beer, with some burnt toast or coffee flavours, but without the heaviness of a Stout or the strength of a Bock. It offers impeccable balance with floral aromatics and spicy herbal notes. This recipe is said to be similar as that used in Pragués most famous beer hall, Brew-pub & beer garden known as the U Fleku. 

We supply Saflager W34/70 Lager Yeast with the kit, but works very well with White Labs WLP800 Pilsner Yeast.
